As you know, there are a number of corrections to be made in the Latin for the TE DEUM:
1. JUBILATE.
Alto in mm.110-111 write in 'lau-da' as it is in the soprano part.
Women, mm. 139-140 is 'ti-bi coe-li'. Make m. 139 quarter rest, half note (ti) and quarter note (bi), then coe becomes a dotted quarter in m.140.
Men, mm. 145-146: same change as the women above for 'ti-bi coe-li'.
Women, m.146: sing 'coe' the entire measure.
Women, m. 149: 'ti-bi cher-u-bim', make the first quarter note 2 8th notes (ti-bi), the dotted quarter (cher-) is OK, then 2 8th notes (u-bim) and the 8th rest as printed.
Men, mm. 149-150. Same process as for the women, just 2 beats later: 2 quarter rests, then 3rd beat is 2 8th notes (ti-bi), 4th beat as is. Next measure - first beat is 2 8th notes, the first tied over then 'u' on the 2nd 8th note.
All, mm. 153-154: 3rd beat of m. 153 is 'mant' - delete 'nt' in m. 154.
All, m. 168: 8th rest then 'coe' on the unison B-flat tied to the dotted quarter note.
3. DIE ORGEL
Best to bracket the triplets - easier to read that way. Also, the half note triplets in m. 10, 15 and onward.
5d. DIES IRAE
Alto 2 + all men, m. 150: first half of the measure is OK, last half needs to be changed. Here is the entire measure - observe the tie: Di-es i-rae, di-es il-la, di-es i-rae, di-es il-la
12. AMEN
All: make same changes here as you did in movement 1: altos, mm. 110-111, Women mm. 139-140. Men mm. 145-146. Women, m. 146. Women, m. 149. Men, mm. 149-150.
That's it!
Philip
