Voltaire was giant of the bloody French Revolution and his angry satire, Candide, is an indicator of attitudes of the time. Composer Leonard Bernstein and lyricist Richard Wilbur spirited forth an exhilarating work with additional lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and Lillian Hellman. Co-produced by Theater Latte Da and Vocal Essence.
