VocalEssence
and Cantus will join forces to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the
American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota in this special
concert! Minnesota’s wealth of choral music will be explored in a wide
ranging program that covers generations of our state’s leading choral
composers.

The concert is divided into four sections: 50 Years Ago, introduced by Vern Sutton;
Minesota’s New Horizons, introduced by Abbie Betinis; Breaking Barriers, introduced by Libby Larsen; and Minesota Classics, introduced by Dominick Argento.

The
concert comes to a grande finale with a collage of Minnesota’s top 40
radio hits as both Cantus and VocalEssence share the spotlight for “The
North Star Hit Parade.”
