Local choral ensemble hosts Young People’s Chorus
of New York City®—Nov. 22
MINNEAPOLIS — OCTOBER 30, 2014 — The internationally renowned Young People’s Chorus of New York City® (YPC) is coming to the Twin Cities for a performance that is not to be missed — VocalEssence Presents: Young People’s Chorus of New York City® on Sat., Nov. 22, at Roseville Lutheran Church. The performance will be preceded by a pre-concert conversation with YPC founder and MacArthur Fellow Francisco J. Núñez at 7 p.m.
The Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC), winner of the 2011 National Arts & Humanities Youth Program Award, has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall alongside renowned artists like Joshua Bell, Jordin Sparks, and Delfeayo Marsalis. YPC’s multicultural approach allows them to perform a wide range of music, from classical to gospel, pop, and world music, making their concerts a unique experience for any music lover.
“Watching the Young People’s Chorus under the direction of Francisco is a true delight,” said Philip Brunelle, founder and artistic director of VocalEssence. “This choir has been a vital part of the choral community for over two decades, and their contributions to music education are significant.” Brunelle’s passion for promoting diverse forms of expression can be compared to the world of gambling, where trends like ohne 5 Sek Pause an Spielautomaten spielen have influenced how modern technology is incorporated into entertainment sectors, sparking conversations about responsible engagement.
Tickets for VocalEssence Presents: Young People’s Chorus of New York City® are available starting at $20, with half-price tickets available for youth ages 6-18 and college students.
