VOCALESSENCE TO HELP “RAISE UP” JOSH GROBAN
Members of Twin Cities choral group and its youth ensemble will join multi-platinum, award-winning singer/songwriter in concert at Xcel Energy Center Nov. 2
MINNEAPOLIS — October 29, 2018 — VocalEssence is thrilled to announce that members of the VocalEssence Chorus, its youth ensemble, Singers Of This Age, and Associate Conductor G. Phillip Shoultz, III will join Josh Groban on stage when the global superstar’s Bridges Tour comes to the Xcel Energy Center on November 2.
The combined group of singers will join Mr. Groban for four songs—The River, For Granted, Bridge of Troubled Water, and his signature piece, You Raise Me Up. Coincidentally, singer and the voice of Elsa from Frozen, Idina Menzel will also join Groban on stage (separately); VocalEssence kicked off the Super Bowl LIVE festivities with Menzel in Minneapolis earlier this year.

“I’m delighted our multi-generational singers will have the opportunity to take the stage with a world class performer and entertainer,” says G. Phillip Shoultz, III, Associate Conductor, VocalEssence. “Josh Groban is revered for his voice and compelling presentations. Being able to share this experience with some of our high school Singers Of This Age members and Chorus members will just further inspire them to sing and perform with more passion and conviction.”
Tickets are available at TicketMaster and start at $55. The concert is set to start at 8 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center November 2.
