Notes	SEE ME See me, I’m not my brother or my sister See me, I’m not my mother or my father There’s more to me than you see I have hopes, I have dreams, I have vision Just like any other person in this whole wide world I want the chance to be, but you must see me See me, I am beautiful and smart See me, I’m a living work of art There’s more to me than you see I have hopes, I have dreams, I have vision Just like any other person in this whole wide world I want the chance to be, but you must see me Refrain: Can’t you see beneath the color of my skin To see that I am just like you Can’t you hear beyond the words that I say To hear that I have dreams too Until we see beneath, Hear beyond Face the truth, That I’m just like you We can’t come together Until you see me See me, I’ve got the answers to your problems See me, if you allow me we can solve them There’s more to me than you see I have hopes, I have dreams, I have vision Just like any other person in this whole wide world I want the chance to be, but you must see me. Refrain: —Text by Raymond Wise
