Directions
From Minneapolis
Take Cedar Ave (Hwy. 77) South (past Mall of America) and into Apple Valley Exit onto County Rd. 38, following the brown and white “Zoo” signs. Head east on County Rd. 38 for 1 mile (you will cross back over Cedar). Go past the zoo entrance to the stop lights at Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right.
From St. Paul
Go South on Interstate 35E and exit at Cliff Rd. Turn east (left) onto Cliff Rd. Go 1/2 mile to 3rd stop light at the intersection of Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn right (south) and go 1 1/2 miles. There will be 2 large churches on your left, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church is the second church. If you come to a stop sign (County Rd. 38) you’ve gone too far.
From Lakeville/Farmington
Take Cedar Ave (Hwy. 77) North to County Rd. 38. Turn left (east) and go 1 mile. Go past the zoo entrance to the stop lights at Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right
From Burnsville
Take County Rd. 38 (also know as McAndrews) east toward Apple Valley. Go across Galaxie Ave. to the next intersection of Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right.
From Rosemount
Take Highway 3 to County Rd. 38 (watch closely for signs). Turn left (west) and proceed to Johnny Cake Ridge Rd. Turn right onto Johnny Cake. The church is on your immediate right.

Handicapped spaces are available near the door in the parking lot off of Fairgreen Avenue.
Elevators
Shepherd of the Valley is a single level venue, so there are no elevators.
Wheelchair Seating
There is wheelchair accessible seating at the end of pew rows. The angle of the pews in each section allows for ease in putting wheelchairs at the ends. Larger scooters would best be located in the front or back where chairs can be removed to accommodate them best. Please indicate any special needs when ordering tickets.

Restrooms are located to the left as you come in the main doors.

Large print programs are available at many of our concerts by request. If given at least 10 working days, VocalEssence written information could be made available in additional alternative formats.
Sign Language Interpreter/Audio Describer
VocalEssence will hire a sign language interpreter should a patron seek to have a concert, presentation, workshop, or program interpreted. Audio description services will also be provided should a patron seek to have a concert, presentation, workshop or program described. The organization reserves the right to have at least 10 working days prior notification of interpreter or describer need.
