On Saturday, October 29, VocalEssence Singers Of This Age (VESOTA) had the opportunity to perform an inspiring evening of music at Reconcile: Singing Hope Into the World.  VESOTA was joined by the Prince of Peace Celebration Choir, Minnesota Saints Chorale, A Cappella Choir from Westwood Lutheran Church, and special guest Joe Davis, who is an author, educator, speaker, spoken word artist, and founder of The New Renaissance.

The word Reconcile signifies a repeated process of coming together—calling people together to be present with and to affirm one another as we embrace our identities for the purpose of celebrating our humanity with love. In an effort to foster this, the ensembles met for several hours prior to the concert to rehearse and build bridges between their communities. Both the performers and the concert attendees enjoyed an unforgettable experience. This event was spearheaded by composer and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church musical artist Kyle Pederson.
